App is een afkorting voor applicatie. Een mobiele app is een door de computer gegenereerd programma dat is ontworpen en ontwikkeld voor gebruik op iPhone, smartphones, tablets en vele andere mobiele apparaten.
Mobiel onderzoek gaat terug tot de jaren vijftig. in 1973, Martin Cooper van Motorola had een doorbraak. In het begin van de jaren negentig hadden PDA's (palmtopcomputer) apps zoals een tekstverwerker, spreadsheet en database. Kort daarna kwam de touchscreen Palm Pilot. Wat mobiele telefoons betreft, waren de eerste apps een rekenmachine, maandkalender, wereldklok, Java-games en een contactenboek. Toen, in 2002, BlackBerry Smartphone vrijgegeven en geïntegreerde draadloze e-mail. Bovendien kostte het tien uur opladen van de batterij om 30 minuten te krijgen om te bellen en je kon alleen mensen in je omgeving bellen. Onnodig te zeggen dat we een lange weg hebben afgelegd .

2009-2013 Miss Trivia
My Miss Trivia was part of the first generation of iPhone drinking/trivia apps. It eventually grew to 5,000 questions, with five categories and three levels of difficulty. You could play alone or pass the phone around among friends at a bar or party.
About the Look
When we were designing Miss Trivia, I told the developers I wanted the opening to have the fun, animated feel of the 1960s TV show Bewitched. Looking at these screenshots all these years later, they definitely understood the assignment—cartoon me, martini tray, stars, moon, city skyline and all.
Players moved through different illustrated bars while answering questions in five categories: History; Beer & Wine; Celebrity Cocktails; Tools, Terms & Tips; and Spirits & Recipes. Even your score was shown as a running bar tab.
At the time, I thought it looked fabulous.
Today, it looks like Samantha Stephens
opened a cocktail bar and
somehow got an iPhone developer.
