THE NUTSHELL

I started in the hospitality industry back in 1977, and in 1998, I discovered the “World Wide Web” through WebTV. I’ll never forget my first impression: “This is like having a library at my fingertips—I could get hooked on this.” From there, I dove into learning HTML and built my very first website.

This was before Google even existed, so I explored the web through Webrings, collecting everything I could on bartending, bars, cocktails, and more, eventually creating a full cocktail resource site. I chose not to clutter it with ads or affiliate links—I just wanted to share the info freely with anyone who was curious.
