I started in the hospitality industry in 1977, and in 1998, I discovered the “World Wide Web” through WebTV.  My first impression from a girl who spent her days off at the library was, “This is like having a library at my fingertips—I could get hooked on this.” From there, I taught myself HTML code to build my first website.

Before Google, I explored the Internet through Webrings, collecting everything I could on bartending, bars, cocktails, and more, eventually creating a comprehensive cocktail resource site. I chose not to clutter it with ads or affiliate links—I just wanted to share the info freely with anyone who was curious.
